Outlook setup...

Does anyone know how to get Outlook Express to allow you to receive messages
on two comps.? I have a laptop that i want to access my mail from, but I
have to make sure it will still come to my PC. Anything will help.

Hi Jody,

This newsgroup is for questions about Microsoft Access the database
product, so this may not be the best answer but it's the one I use:

Set up the mail account on your laptop in the usual way. Then go to
Tools|Accounts, select this account and click Properties.

On the Advanced tab, check "Leave a copy of messages on server". This
means that when you download mail to the laptop it will remain on the
sever to be downloaded to your PC later. Also consider checking "Remove
from server when deleted from Deleted items" as a way of getting rid of
messages you're not going to want on the PC.

Of course if you send a message from the laptop it won't automatically
show up in the Sent Items folder on the PC. As a substitute, whenever
you send a message from the laptop, you could send a bcc to yourself.
