Outlook "shared" calendar doesn't

OS - Windows 98, Outlook 98, small Novell network.

Office has been sharing a calendar for over 2 years.
Computer where calendar was originally generated had heart
attack but was revived only after trip to ER. Upon
return, a copy of the calendar was made within Outlook and
attempts made to share the new calendar. Users were added
to share list with Editor permissions so everyone can edit
and share info. Outlook sends out invitations; users
accept. Outlook says "all is well" and shows calendar on
all users' folder list.

Problem: there is NO DATA in the calendar. (Original has
over 3K entries) AND Updates are not sent when made to any
of the calendars. Can anyone tell us what we're doing
wrong or point us to a detailed list of steps to see if
we're missing something? Does the originating computer
need to have special settings as administrator or set the
whole folder as shared or have some magic incantation
murmured over it to get it to send the appointment data?
