Outlook Shortcuts Ctrl + D = Date Ctrl + T = Time

When entering notes in the Contact text box (or when using Notes or Tasks for
that matter), it would be helpful to have the following keystroke shortcuts
available: CTRL + D to instantly enter the current date
CTRL + T to instantly enter the current time.

I used an early PIM called Instant Recall that allowed those keyboard
shortcuts when taking notes and found them to be very helpful. Come to think
of it, having them available in Word, Excel or across the Windows operating
system environment would be helpful as well.

the best you can do in current versions is use a custom form with script
behind it or an addin that stamps the date - I use ActiveWords because it
works with any program, not just outlook. Search outlookcode.com for 'date
stamp' and you should find instructions for using a custom form.
