Outlook Shortcuts disappearing.

Hi All;

I have am having a problem with outlook shortcuts. When I make any shortcuts
- say to my inbox, sent items, a couple of public folders.. - and close
outlook. I open outlook again and the shortcuts are back to the default.
Sometimes a couple of them hang around for one restart of outlook. But
eventually they all disappear. I have full permissions to the outlook.xml
file in my profile. If I watch the file I can see the size changing when I
close outlook. Any idea's.

PS - This outlook is on terminal server - 30 users - all other user work
fine. This is a new user...

Outlook 2003 I presume? It usually means the profile is corrupt so the xml
file gets rewritten now and again. If it gets replaced with every restart,
something is keeping outlook open so it doesn't close properly - the xml is
not updated until outlook closes.

Thanks Diane;

I have checked and the rest of the profile works fine. Also the outlook
seems to be closing properly. I have several users with customized outlook
and it works fine for them.

I tried to take one of the Outlook.xml files from another user and put it in
the directory, but that didn't seem to work.. I also made it read only -
again did not work... Very fustrating...
