Outlook shortcuts panel not working

Hi,

I just installed Office XP and everything seems fine except
- I get the following message when I click on any of side panel shortcut icons " Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Outlook could not access the specified folder location. The folder no longer exists." However, when I click on the very same folder in the folder list all my Outlook 2000 data appears (which is what I want).

I have tried 'detect and repair' and l looked in the help file. I haven't re-installed yet. I was hoping this was a familiar problem to someone with advice.

Have you tried creating a new shortcut in the Outlook bar?

No and Yes;

No I hadn't tried to create a shortcut in the Outlook Bar.

Yes this solves it completely

Yes, I've now replaced the original shortcut icons with new ones using my folders.

I hate it when the answers are so simple, computers are supposed to be complicated.
