Outlook should allow .pst files to roam for users with roaming pr.

Small organization. Doesn't want the "hassel" of running Exchange. Running
Server 2003 with XP Pro workstations and Office 2003. Roaming profiles and
redirected folders to network share. Everything works great with all
products EXCEPT Outlook. Since outlook is set up as POP3, it uses .pst files
which don't roam and aren't redirected! Not only can't people use outlook
when roaming, but it makes backing up the e-mail much more difficult.

WHY?

Or am I missing something?

Put your PST's in a central location and then use
Outlook Profiler.

Server 2003 as in Windows Server 2003?

You could put .pst files in redirected folders, but Microsoft doesn't
support and cautions against storing .pst files on a network drive. You
might be better off using a mail/collaboration server that has a robust web
interface.
