Outlook should be able to print an envelope directly.

Sometimes I want to send a card or picture to a contact. As far as I can tell
the only way to print an envelope from Outlook is to first create a letter
for the contact. I'd like to be able to highlight or open a contact and then
just print an envelope for that contact.

Thanks,
Tom

I agree, shouldn't Outlook just be able to print a simple envelope without
working with Word? I use WordPerfect.

That's what the Insert Address Button in Word is for.

Outlook's integration with a word processor works only with Word. You need
a work processor to create an envelope, ergo, you need Word.

Outlook's code is already massive. I doubt you really want to add Word
processor code to it. The whole reason behind integration in Office is to
keep each program manageable.
It's just not going to happen.
