Using Outlook XP I installed Canadian holidays. Then I upgraded to Office
2003 and discovered recently that my holidays end on December 31 2005. Help
file told me that Outlook 2003 includes holidays from 2003 to 2007. Upon
installing them using Outlook 2003 I discovered the holidays for 2005 are all
now duplicated in the calendar. DOH!
Obviously if Microsoft wishes (probably for marketing reasons) not to
include more future years in the holiday list, then the upgrade process
should either automatically extend holidays already installed over the
additional years, or else the manual holiday install process should be
improved so that duplicates do not appear in the calendar. It's so obvious,
