New spams are showing up my inbox with what seems to be words that I have
made Email rules for. The creators of the spam have now separated the key
words my rules are looking for i.e. Viagra and meddications. They way they
circumvent my rules are that they have split up the words within the HTML
email. Scince I want to continue to allow all mails and just not plain text
mails my idea is as follows. Convert the body of the email to plain text
before the rules are applied, that way (hopefully) existing rules would not
be fooled by the HTML of the email.
Here is a part of the source of spam email using what I just described:
<DIV><BR><FONT face=Arial><TABLE style="WORD-SPACING: normal; PADDING-TOP:
0px;" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0>
<TR style="BORDER-BOTTOM: 0px;" vAlign=bottom>
<TD rowSpan=2 style="BORDER: 0px;">Hi Do you</TD>
<TD></TD>
<TD rowSpan=2 style="BORDER: 0px;">d les</TD>

<TR style="BORDER-BOTTOM: 0px;">

I'm using Outlook 2003 SP2 on a Windows XP Proffessional SP2 operating system.
