Outlook should have a "smart select" function

When I'm typing along and make a typographical error, it would be very useful
to be able to do a "Ctrl+Chift+<--" on the fly and have it only select up to
the point where the mistake first began, instead of selecting the entire
word. For instance, if I've done something obviously wrong like hit caps
lock by accident so that "accident" comes out as "acciDENT", it would be far
less disruptive to have Word recognize the obvious error (this function could
be toggled on or off in the event a user does not care to use it) and select
only up to the beginning of the error, "DENT", so I can just re-type that and
keep going.

This forum is for Word vba

One man's error is another man's deliberate intention; however, Word already
has such a feature Shift+Left Arrow. Hold this combination until the cursor
reaches what you consider to be a mistake. Use the right arrow to reduce the
selection if you overshoot
