outlook should have the option to block images

i noticed a big chunk of spams contain bitmap images. if there is an option
to filter all incoming e-mails containing a certain type of images, then i
can significantly lower my spams.

also, many other spams deliberately mis-spell words like Viagra, etc...
maybe another way to stop spams is to filter those e-mails containing a
certain percentage of "non-sense" words.

Outlook already blocks images - what are you talking about?

Read all messages as plain text to kill the images. You control the
additions to your filter, so have at it.

but i only want to block bitmap images, not jpegs, pdfs and other image
files. outlook only gives you option to delete e-mails with attachments but
not a specific type of attachments.

could you please show me how to filter bitmap files only?

thanks

bingram

Outlook filters all images - it is not configurable. It is all or nothing.
