Outlook should include "with empty subject" as part of a rule

I am looking for a way to set a rule which sorts emails with an empty
subject line into the junk mail folder. I found no way in the gui to
configure a rule which is looking for empty subject lines. please add it.

You can already do this although it might be less obvious.
Create a rule which moves all emails to the Junk Email folder unless the
subject contains a, e, i, o, u, y

Getting a message with a subject without any vowels in it is very likely to
be empty or junk anyway ;-)

You're welcome!

In general, the junk emails with an empty subject are already put into the
Junk Email folder automatically for me. Legitimate emails with empty
subjects (as people sometimes just simply forgot) are still delivered the
Inbox. Your mileage may vary though ;-)

That will, of course, not work with non-alphabet languages - they will
all end up in the junk mail folder. But if you are not expecting any
legitimate non-alpha messages, then this is a good circumvention.

True, but if there are repeatable characters in another language (I realize
that is less common for Asian languages), you could of course use that too.
But as I said; in general the Junk Email Filter will pick up on those
messages automatically already and also wouldn't drop legitimate emails
where people just forgot to put in the subject.
