When I go to TOOLS, then ORGANIZE in order to color an email message -- then
choose "apply color" - I get the message: "You cannot add another color
because YOU HAVE EXCEEDED THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF RULES FOR THIS FOLDER."
Herein lies the problem. NOWHERE in Outlook instructions does it mention
that there is a "MAXIMUM NUMBER of rules" in order to color messages. I have
posted this question to several message boards and have NEVER received a
response that makes any sense. Why, with the more sophistocated Outlook
program (versus Outlook Express) is there a limit to a certain amount of
messages in which to apply this rule? I suggest that Outlook techies
consider making the "Organize by Color" rule more accessible as in Outlook
Express.
