outlook should let me forward spam without downloading images.

suggestion for outlook -
i get quite a few phishing emails that contain links to images. outlook
will not allow me to forward the emails without first downloading the images.
many institutions (ebay, amazon, etc) allow people to send phishing emails
to them so that they can investigate the phishers. outlook's current
behaviour means that i can't do this without letting the phishers know that
my email address is legitimate.

Outlook 2007 will have that ability. BTW, forwarding phishing mail is
seldom effective since any large web site will probably have thousands of
people hit by the same email.

thanks for the answer. just so i understand your reasoning in the second
sentence, why would it be ineffective?

Because Web Sites are constantly receiving these types of messages
(sendto:[email protected]) they are overloaded, you get an automated response
(if lucky) and the ticket sits there since the problem has probably already
been resolved. Besides, how do you know that the webmaster at
(e-mail address removed) is not the actual spammer looking to confirm addresses?
