Outlook should permit Options=View|Arrange By|Show in Groups=None

In Outlook 2003 users are required to *suffer* the application of
[View|Arrange By|Show in Groups] being turned ON by Default. Many of us see
this as a great waste of space in the viewing pane. Since messages can be
sorted quickly by any of the fields available, it is a real nuisance not
being able to make the Default setting for all new folders created as [Show
in Groups|None] once and for all.

It would also be helpful if this setting could be propagated to sub-folders.

For instance, after opening an Archive file (where the settings for the all
the folders have already been set to [Show in Groups|None]), following a Copy
or Move file operation from the Archive to anywhere within the Inbox, ALL the
folders copied or moved will now have the Show in Groups setting turned back
ON.

There is no simple way to select a parent folder, set its Show in Groups
setting to OFF, and thus take care of all the sub-folders -- NO! -- each
folder must be opened separately and the Show in Groups setting must be set
to None and applied to each of them one-at-a-time. What a BOTHER!!!
