Outlook should provide an "Out of office assistant" to all users

As a home business user I feel that the "Out of Office Assistant" facility
should be available to all users not just users operating from an Exchange
Server. I think it is a basic business facility. I currently use Office
2003 but operate from a POP3 Server.

See if your POP server offers a vacation reply feature. Some ISPs do (like
mine). Alternately you can try using the Rules Wizard to reply but then you
need to leave Outlook running all the time since it's a client app not
running on your mail server to auto-reply
