Outlook should put all related e-mails in one thread like GMAIL!!

GMAIL puts all the related e-mail in one thread. For example if I write
e-mail to friend A, then his replay will be organized in the same thread. It
is so much easy compare to in OUTLOOK I have to create folders and put that
conversation in that folder. Otherwise it is so much harder to fish for
related e-mails. Please please add this feature in outlook!

This is not a suggestion. It is end user error. The feature already exists.
Just create the proper view: Arrange By Conversation.

You mean kinda like View - Arrange By - Conversation?

"Error" is kinder than "ignorance." The odd thing is that "Arrange By
Conversation" is the default view for the Inbox, so the OP must have changed
it. I'd call that an error since it was the view he or she wanted.

Interesting. I've never seen that and it certainly wasn't the default view
here in 2007 on installation.....

Really? What was your default view? Mileage will vary by the data source, of
course.

Twice actually - a bog-standard installation of Office 2003 on XP (which I
don't use - it's just installed for support purposes and has no pst file
other than the empty one created on install) on which the default Inbox view
is Date, and on 2007, (AFAICR) it was the same. I certainly don't recall
changing it FROM "By conversation" at all.

No repro. Just confirmed with Outlook 2007. Default view for the Inbox:
Arrange By: Conversation.

Well certainly the 2003 installation is NOT by conversation. And I know for
a fact I haven't touched that.

Despite what the less than polite individuals above tell you, the
conversation view is no where as good as gmail. Might I suggest Ewan Dalton's
ThreadCompressor, it's free, and with a few rules, works great.

Cheers

Outlook 2010's conversation handling may be more to the OP's liking.
