Outlook should still offer free synchronized to MSN and Hotmail

Outlook should not charge a subcription fee. It's not fair if you paid for
Office Pro 2003, or Office Pro and or any other Outlook product.

Good Morning Michael,
It's not a subscription problem. It seems that OneNote needs the Desktop
Search enabled to synch with Outlook, but my copy of Outlook 2007 and OneNote
2007 wont, or cant load the desktop search engine. Anything you may be able
to think of would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if there a work around to solve that problem. It's wierd that
you pay for something and you don't get what you pay for... Now they want to
charge again and again. It's been awhile since I access Outlook. And behold I
was stun that now that want me to pay more for something that they offer in
the past for free! Maybe I should stop buying MS products. Sorry I can't

OL doesnt charge a fee, Hotmail does, for OL/OE accessibility

Botton Line Microsoft sell MS Office 2003. Which I paid $399.00 for it.
In the past with other MS Office products that can with Outlook. Which I was
able to access all my email thru Outlook for fee. If I buy Office 2003 they
shouldn't change thing unless they are improve the software for the consumer
not the the make. I expect that the current products would still have the
same capibility or better for the consumer.

By the way Microsoft Company should not charge for something that they offer
free in the past. Whether or not OL doesn't and Hotmail and MSN does. They
both are own by MS.........

Went to this site which is Own by Microsoft. which sold Office 2003 which
has Outlook 2003. Still don't feel that we have to pay again.
In the future they should sell Outlook and also then charge a fee to access

The email service, Hotmail is free, but you wish to access in a way that was
not origonally intended.
The fee is an attempt to close spammers access
Hotmail is a subsidury Co of MS

My problem is that since the mid 1970 I alway access it my mail thru OUTLOOK.
This has been the way ALL MS OUTLOOK user use the program. Why change it how.
I could see it change when they bring out a neww product. But again this was
availble in the mid 1970 for FREE. Can't you see the picture. Spammer will
always be out there. But, MS OUTLOOK was orginally design to access all your
email. Am I wrong. MS OUTLOOK has been around for a long time! At the point
of sales of MS OFFICE 2003 and the past version did not charge a fee, It was
FREE.

Now Office 2007 or OUTLOOK 2007 is coming out. I can see MS explain that at
the beginning of 2007b but not for the past program. They shouldn't have
OUTLOOK in the program unless it was explain at that time.

I agree. It show be free since it was free back in the mid 1970 and the early
2004 or 2005. I can see in the future product they could charge. $399 was a
very expense price for MS OFFICE 2003 and then they started to charge for it.
That really sucks. Still it's not fair! You could debate this until you turn
blue..IT'S NOT Fair after 30+ years have past. Again for the new product yes
and not the older version.

Simply impossible because it wasn't until Outlook 2002 that you could access
Hotmail with Outlook. Outlook Express, on the other hand, is a different
story. Perhaps you're confusing Outlook and OE.

Not quite, in OL2k I had created a Hotmail folder, which when clicked on
opened the hotmail interface. True you could'nt exactly call it intergrated

Yes all Outlook is free or came if other MS software..

Outlook function are pretty much the same.
Send and Recieve.
Microsoft product....
Be real!! Outlook every year gets better and better!
But the main reason why people use it is to communcate email.
You want to use ONE program, function or device to access all your emails
from other IP accounts!
Login in and everything automatic.

Outlook is a full fledged mail app.

OE is a 'lite' app, but not a stripped down Outlook version.

Outlook has slightly more security features than OE (yeah, well that is kind
of an oxymoron...), and originally was targetted toward business customers.
It lacked a few of the 'eye candy' features of OE, but in the latest versions
Outlook has more 'eye candy' than any one (sane) person really needs (no, I'm
not tired of getting bloated nearly 1 MB Outlook generated, 'eye candified'
emails from my wife's boss....no, not at all).

Outlook also has features for handling local network mail that OE doesn't.

Basically if you are happy with what you are running, there is no real
reason to switch...overall Outlook is a more 'complete' app and has the
potential to do much more than OE.

Again, this is flat-out wrong. Outlook is a PIM with task management,
calendaring, journalling, and personal notes as well as mail capability.
Outlook Express is just mail and news.

If you know what you are doing.

functionality of Outlook Express.
