Outlook Shutdown on Exit

Every time I close Outlook (2002 version from Office professional) it closes.
When I then go to shut down windows (XP Home), I am asked to close all MSFT
products when no products are visibly running. If I force it to shut down by
selecting end now - the next time I start outlook - I am told I did not
properly shut it down and my personal folders are being checked for errors -
Anyone else come across this and if so - what did you do????

Removing addons sometimes cures this problem. It is most likely an addon that
is preventing proper shutdown. Use the Addon Manager to disable them.

page and Fax Servere Exstension - COuld either of these be the problem????

it's highly doubtful that either would cause issues - although if you are
using outlook to send faxes, it may not be ending the call correctly.
Disabling it will affect your ability to send faxes from outlook...

Diane - Call it my luck with PCs - I removed them both and Outlook shut
quickly - I will go back and add in each one as a solo and see what happens -
I have never used Outlook for a fax and the other talks about the out of
office assistant - wish me luck - I am off to APRT for Biz trip and will get
back to this next weekend - Thanks
