Outlook Signature adding jpeg as multiple attachments on reply and forward

I have created a signature in Outlook 2002 and 2003 inserting our
company logo as a jpeg (using HTML editor view).
When emailing outlook to outlook it is working fine but in some cases
the logo is being received as an attachment as well as being viewed in
the body of the email, the main problem is occurring when email
correspondence is going backwards and forwards - then our signature
is appearing as an attachment multiple times, this is causing great
confusion as people are opening the attachments only to discover they
are all copies of our logo. On a recent reply all email conversation
towards the end there were 8 copies of our logo attached - this didn't
seem to be happening with the other companies logos.

Is there a way I can embed this or stop it happening?
