Outlook slow saving attachments to nt 4.0 server

After upgrading to Windows XP Professional, Outlook 2000
is extremely slow in saving attachments to a Windows nt
4.0 server with Service Pack 6.0a. All service packs and
updates were installed in both Outlook and Windows XP.

Any suggestions??
