outlook slows down when doing 'save as'

we are running outlook 2002. It works fine, but one user has an issue when
they try to save an attachment, and they do a save as, it takes forever for
the pulldown to appear... it is processing, it justt akes a real long time.
Any suggestions? it happens when trying to save an excel or word document.
