Outlook spell check language is French. Can't be changed in Tools

I have Office 2007 with language set as English. However, Outlook spell check
is
set up in French with no option to change through the Tools menu. How do I
get spell check to work in English? The manufacturer, MDG, is not able to
help & has
refered me to MS.

That's what I thought. But in your original post, you said Outlook.
Twice. This newsgroup is for questions about Microsoft Office (which
includes Outlook). Outlook Express is not part of Microsoft Office, so
your question is off-topic here. But see

checking capabilities in some languages in Outlook Express 6.0 after you
install the 2007 Microsoft Office system". In brief, you can reinstall
the proofing tools from an earlier version of Office if you have one, or
you can install a third-party spellchecking utility (there are many,
some free, some not, just ask Google).
