Outlook Standard Forms Library empty with Activesync

We have a few clients whose Outllok Standard Forms Library has been emptied
by MS Activesync since their iPaqs have been installed. This means they get
errors opening things like Out of Office messages, attached distribution
lists, etc. in Outlook.

This only happens in their profiles, and if somebody else uses the same PC
without installing activesync or iPaqs in their profile there is no problem,
and the Standard Forms Library remains populated.

I have tried detect and repair, re-installing Outlook, clearing the forms
cache, but all to no avail. Can't find any info out there on this problem but
need to fix it. Any ideas? Versions used are Outlook 2000, Activesync 3.7 &
3.8.
