Outlook Start-up Issue

I have a machine on my network that will start outlook, but will not allow
itself to check mail. As it attempts to do so, Outlook shuts down
immediately. When I attempt to go to the Control Panel and edit the
profile in the Mail manager it has a DLL error and shuts down as well. Any
thoughts on what's going on or what went wrong?

Any commentary would be grateful.
