outlook stopped receiving emails for hotmail account. Synchroniza

[Lost!]

After updating Outlook, I received a message that Outlook needs to redownload
all emails for hotmail account, and that this takes time, and recommended to
do it another time by .. synchronization?

Now outlook does not receive any new emails for hotmail account, and I could
find how to do the required synchronization!

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
