Outlook stopped working when I uninstalled the Office 2007 trial

OK - I installed the trial of 07 over my Office 2003 Pro as we now have it at
work and I wanted to be up to speed before My Boss started asking how to do
things. I did not install the 07 Outlook, but used the old one. Now that
the trial is over, I uninstalled it, but now my outlook will not open! I
keep getting the following message:

Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window.
The set of folders could not be opened. The server is not available.
Contact your administrator if this condition persists.

I've tried the following:

Removed all PST files for outlook
Uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2003

Nothing seems to work.

I'm running a Lenovo desktop with Windows 7.

Anyone out the know what else I can try?? Thanks.

Well - under the General question pool I found the answer to my issue:
Scanpst.exe is a program on my system - I'm not sure if it's an Office
program or a windows one, but it WORKED!!! Email again after two weeks!!
