Outlook suppressing images in HTML mail

By default Outlook XP does not show images in HTML mail, if they are
referenced via "img / src / http". However, once in a while I receive HTML
mail, where an image is reference via "img / src / cid". These embedded
images are not suppresed.

How can I make Outlook also suppress those embedded images?

You could set Outlook 2002 to use the ReadAsPlain feature, which would
suppress all HTML formatting. See
