Outlook Synchronisation Message

Hi

I'm running Vista Business and Outlook 07.

Outlook picks up my email from an Optus POP3 server.

Outlook gives me the message "...synchronising folders" and it seems to take
forever and nothing happens. I have to close Outlook and reboot the machine
to be able to send and receive.

My webmail folder for the Optus account is completely empty. With what is
Outlook trying to synchronise? How can I stop it?

Any advice much appreciated.
