Outlook synchronization

Hello

Since upgrading for Office 97 to Office XP many users are
complaining that it is taking much longer to synchronise
their off-line E-mail via dial-up connection.

Does Outlook XP transfere more data from the server when
synchronising email?

any suggestions on how to improve this or am I stuck with
it?
