Outlook Synchronizing Problem

During the past several weeks, I will writing an email message and then
Outlook will start synchronizing files and the program shuts down. The email
is lost and is not in the draft folder. This has happen numerous times and
is very frustrating when I am preparing an email and then I have to start
over and over again.
