outlook takes few minutes to connect to exchange

Hello All

I am having a strange problem where when I open on outlook 2003, at the
bottom bar it say trying to connect... then it will take few minutes and then
it will start syncronizing all the folders. we are using exchange 5.5 I am
not sure why it is doing it as it is only doing it for few users only,
especialy new users.

I also have the same exact problem. I recently updated my Windows XP Pro and Office 2003 Pro and then my Outlook started running extremely slow. If anyone knows of a solution (I already uninstalled all the recent Windows/Office updates) I would really appreciate it. My Outlook connects to Exchange Server also and no one else is having a problem but me.
