I have Onenote 2007 and Outlook 2003. I use outlook tasks regulary. I do
not know why but today the outlook task are inactive in Onenote. How do I
turn this feature back on.

Thanks

Can you clarify what you mean? You are suddenly unable to create new
Outlook tasks in OneNote? Or are existing Tasks somehow not working or
useable?

The dropdown for outlook tasks in onenote is now gray and non-selectable
versus red flags.

I'm having the same issue except this is a new install of Office 2007 and the
Outlook features from OneNote have nevver been active. I'd really like to use
these features.

Do you have the insertion point somewhere in the text on a Page where
OneNote could create a Task? If there isn't any text/Ink selected, or if
the insertion point isn't displayed (if you have a Section Tab or Page Tab
selected for example) then there is no obvious item to be turned into a
Task.

Hi, this is a permission setting in Outlook. I had the same problem because
no other applications could access outlook information. The problem lies in
Vista, when your have to set properties for the Outlook pst-files.

I'm having the same problem as Mike. I'm running Vista with Outlook
2007/OneNote 2007. I've been using the Outlook task feature in OneNote for a
while and today the button is disabled.

Similar problem (cannot create an OL task in ON- menu greyed- clean install
of Vista, installed Office 03 before upgrading to Office 07, then installed
my first instance of ON 07), but the quick fix didn't work. Perhaps mine is
an Outlook Permissions issue. Can anyone tell me how to remedy this?
Thank You,
