Outlook Tasks

[Brojees]

There are two different task entry forms.

One is in Jpurnal and is a selection under New Journal Entry. This allows a
task to be established and recorded in the Journal, But does not allow the
detail fields, such as mileage to be used.

The other is under Tasks and while it does allow the details such as milegae
to be recorded, it does not provide a Journal entry.

I wnt to enter my tasks in Mileage with corresponding journal entries.

you can use a custom journal form.

OK it worked! Thank you. Now if I could get my Office tool bar to call up my
custom form....NO Really this will work, thanks.

But has anyone taught Outlook to drive?

To create a new instance of a custom form programmatically, use the Add
method on the target folder's Items collection. If it's a message form, you
can use the Drafts folder as the target. If the target is a default folder,
you can use the Namespace.GetDefaultFolder method to return it as a
MAPIFolder object. Otherwise, you can use the code at
http://www.outlookcode.com/d/code/getfolder.htm to walk the folder hierarchy
and return the MAPIFolder corresponding to a given path string.
