Outlook Tasks

I am setting up many recurring tasks within Outlook and I am using the
timeline view to review my entries. I would like to see ALL entries
for a single recurring task. For example, if I enter that a task is
recurring on every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I want to see the
task listed on every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until the end date.

However, the timeline view (and all other views) only shows the current
task. Only after I "complete" a task does the next entry appear on
the list or timeline. Is there a way I can show all recurring entries
without entering a complete status?

Thanks!

Chip - I use a workaround and use recurring Events because recurring Tasks
never quite do it the way I (and you) want!

Thanks Judy. Are you just using your calendar to monitor the Events?
If I copy an Event from my calendar to the task list I run into the
same problem (recurring event does not appear for each day).

The reason I'm trying to use the task list is that I like the
functionality and the different views for displaying my items.

I guessed it may have been caused by Plaxo. Sorry but I don't know it well
enough to help you with Plaxo problems.

sorry Chip - that previous post ended up in the wrong place!

For recurring things to do I just use Events and leave them there as
events - I make them a bright colour so I notice them at the top of the
Calendar.
