Outlook Tasks

I have a customer that has organized his tasks by moving them to a personal
folder. This worked for sometime, but about a week ago he stopped being able
to open or view the tasks. He receives the error Can't open this file, Could
not locate the tasks folder. Is there a solution for this? or has he lost all
of his tasks that were moved.

I have tried to scan the pst for errors, as well as recreating the entire
..ost file for the user.

Thanks,

And what were the scanning results? The ost-file is irrelevant when you are
storing in a pst-file. Use File-> Data File Management to verify the
location of the pst-file to scan.

It found errors, but it stated it was able to repair them. The files can move
around on the .pst file, but it seems it can not find the tasks folder on the
..ost. It does not seem to be able to communicate between the .pst and .ost
files

I'm not really sure what you are doing or looking at since you are mixing up
the usage of ost-file and pst-file definitions. Also what do you expect to
communicate between ost-files and pst-files? Short from manually moving
items there is no communication between the files going on.

If you are using Outlook 2003 or 2007 make sure you are in the Folder List
Navigation so you can see all the folders. The Exchange account should list
a Tasks folder there.
