Outlook Tasks

In Outlook Task window, I want to be able to see the company listed in the
task, so I go to Field Chooser and add the company and contact fields to my
column headings. When I create a new task and it opens the task dialogue,
there is a button in the lower left hand corner for contacts. If I select
the button, I can select on a contact and it will assign that contact to the
task and show the individual contact in the contact column in the task
window, but it doesn't show the company listing in the company column.
Anybody know what I have to do to get it to bring up the company name also -
confusing.

The Task form has a "Companies" field on the "Details" tab. Fill that in
and you'll see whatever it is you typed in the "Company" column you added to
the list view. It is not connected with the company field on the contact
with which you've associated the task.
