Outlook tasks

When importing Project tasks into Outlook as tasks, is it possible to set
reminders for these tasks? If so, do I need to do it in Outlook or can I do
it in Project before exporting the tasks? Can I export tasks into other
co-worker's Outlook's if we are working on the same project and are using the
Server? If so, can I set reminders for them?

Hello April,
On the Outlook add-in, option of the configurable options is to set the
reminders; so a user will be reminded in outlook regarding tasks.
A co-worker, if not assigned to the task in Project Server will not have the
task imported into their calendar. You could however use the Outlook
functionality to forward the task to the co-worker, and any reminders set on
the task would remain constant, but I'd really like you to think the process
through and I'd urge you to make the correct assignments in Project Server in
the 1st instance, rather than cludging something together via Outlook.

Just to add to what Ben has clearly stated. You cannot set the Outlook
reminder bit from Project Server. This will remain true even in the 2010
version without significant consulting modifications.

I like you idea and suggest that you as this specifically on the project
blog to get mind share with the PM team at MS.
