Outlook Templates

S

Sharri

I have downloaded several EMail templates from microsoft. Saved under my
documents directory. I only had a choice to save as a .cab file. When I try
to open it in outlook or work, it shows up in some weird text that is not
readable. What did I do wrong?

Word should not be opening a .cab file. It's a kind of compressed file. I'm
not sure how to tell you to change the associations with that either.
Hopefully someone else can help with this part.

Any chance you have WinZip on your system?

Sharri,
Right Click the file and you should have an option to extract the file
from the cab file.

Okay. I didn't have the option to extract using the right click option.
However, I did open winzip, open the file and it worked! Thanks for the
advice :)
