outlook time out error

setup XP pro,laptop,Office XP SP3
opening outlook, can send reciece ok
after five minutes , send recieve, has a time out error
ISP has checked with no problems on there side

i have 2 laptops doing the same thing, 1 laptop has no
problems

Please help
