Outlook Time Problem Since DST

Although the DST patch was applied (KB931836) to my XP machines, I have a
bunch of Outlook clients, 2000 and 2003, that are receiving emails with a
time stamp of one hour behind.

We are using a hosted email solution and if we use the web interface from
teh same machines experiencing this problem, the correct sent and received
time appears.

Wwe have tried re-installing the path, removing it entirely, and using
tzedit, but without any luck. Ideas???

John, I've got a similar issue with messages with the wrong stamp, but
they're an hour ahead of what they should be. Standard POP3 mail.
I've sent tests from 4 different web-based email clients, inlcuding
the one hosted on my POP3 server and they all show up as, say 10PM
instead of 9PM.

The strange thing is that this only seems to be when viewing the list
of messages in a mail folder. Double-click the message and it shows
the correct time in the header. View the raw message text under
"options" and it shows the right stamp and GMT offset. This is also
for any message received since DST took place. Messages prior show
their time properly in the mail folder and message head. Change the
OS clock to mid April, message doesn't change.

This is happening on multiple systems running OL2003 and OE6. All
systems are patched with the OS DST update that applies and the tzmove
for Outlook (which only affects calendar data anyway).

My guess is that somewhere there is a relay server that is not
patched. I guess it will fix itself come April 1.

We are experiencing the same problem as csi.onetech. The only difference is
that I am running Outlook 2007. If anyone finds a solution let us know. Thank

OK, so for some magical reason I haven't figured out yet, time stamps
are good starting 3/19/07 at about 2PM MDT. I've had no restarts or
updates during the time period between my post on the 13th and the
20th. My bench computer that I had set up with a clean install and no
AV filter on SMTP/POP3 traffic is working OK too and it has been off
since the post date. This had to be some unpatched SMTP server
somewhere.

I have had the same problem, it has taken me 2 weeks and 96 min on the phone
with customer support for ME to figure it out. now bare with me in
outlook/tools/options/calendar options/ time zones. check what time zone you
have it set. if there is another one with the same gmt select that one (i.e.
mine is central time -0600 there is 2 of these) make sure the one you select
allows you to check the box below it adjust for Daylight savings time. now go
to control panels to date and time properties. under the time zone tab make
sure that you time zone you have selected allow you to check automatically
adjust clock for daylight saving changes. under the date and time tab
manually adjust the clock back one hour if need be (I had to) go back to
outlook and send yourself a test message as this should have fixed the
problem if you need more help with this feel free to give me a
