I am using Outlook 2000. I have started having a bizarre problem with time
stamps on email for the last couple of days, received messages are stamped
with a time approximately 8 hours earlier than the sent time (for instance, I
sent myself a test message at 09:00 am ("sent time" gmt -06:00 hrs) and
received it back stamped as 01:10 am ("received time" gmt -06:00 hrs). I have
checked my system and outlook calendar time settings and both of them are set
to central time (gmt - 06:00 hrs) with automatic adjustment for daylight
savings time. I have checked the message headers and they show consistent
times. I have tried emailing to my hotmail account and the send/receive times
are consistent. The problem exists only with Outlook. Will appreciate
suggestions from any of you that can help.
Thanks for your time & assistance.
