My outlook 2003 client connects to an exchange 2003 server via a direcway
satellite link. For the most part this works fine, however more often than
not, it loses connection to the server and spends forever (several minutes)
trying to reconnect.
The second problem that surfaces is that many times the cursor (inside the
outlook window) will show that it is busy (the running horse) even when I've
just completed a synch with the server. This happens every 30-40 seconds and
last for 10-15 seconds and can continue for quite a long time. During this I
have no problem accessing the internet (so I know its not the physical
network connection problem), I'm assuming this may alo be a timing related
problem.
Are there any known settings (reg hacks) that could address the timing
problems that appear to be happening?
Thanks
