Outlook Today flashes then goes blank, why?

When I click on Outlook Today (Microsoft Office 2007), the screen flashes
what appears to be the correct content, (it's a very brief look) but then
goes blank. Any help is appreciated.

You can right-click on Mailbox, go to Properties. On one of the tabs is a
checkbox for Show Home Page. See if this is unchecked?

I have the same problem. The Show Home page is checked. But the Today page
just flashes briefly and goes blank
