Outlook Today should let me view reminders due that day

I'm on Office 2003. to get better organized, I'd like to create the next
day's to do list by customizing "outlook today". I should be able to list
appt.s for the day, limit to tasks due that day, and display any reminders
set against mail messages that are due that day.

currently appts. are displayed, and a full list of tasks are displayed, but
I can't drop in the reminders, and I can't limit tasks to just those due that
day.

this is new functionality i'm requesting, yes?

You can customize how OT appears by using a digital dashboard - instructions

Milly thanks. This solution looks pretty intense, and also requires a sql
server download, etc. What's the skill set required here for a somewhat
non-techy to get by? Any summarized tips to help wade through all the
documentation?
