Outlook Today Styles Keeps Changing

Upgraded from Office 2000 to 2003. In Customize Outlook today there is only a red x where the style preview should be. I can change it but when I restart the sommer style is always used for Outlook Today. Also there is a red x on at the top of that page below my profile name. I have restored and reinstalled but no difference.
