Outlook Tracking

I am not able to change the option to prompt me to send a read receipt or not
under Tracking Options. "Always send a response" is enabled but "prompt me"
is unavailable with a message saying "This option only applies to messages
coming through Internet E-Mail Transports". How can I enable this? Thanks.
