Outlook tries to send email that does not exist in outbox through

Outlook tries to send email that does not exist in outbox, through a non
exsistant account. I have cleared any mail in outbox. The account it
continuously tries to access has been removed from the account list. I have
refreshed and reset the general system cache, used the Repair option in
Outlook, double checked that the the account Outlook seeks is not listed in
any account box. Anybody have any ideas?
