Outlook tries to send email that doesn't exist.

I use outlook to send and receive message from the Yahoo and hotmail
accounts. About a month ago it started constantly trying to send 1 message
that doesn't exist (nothing in outbox) and starting yesterday, the number of
messages it tries to send increased to 12 and it takes forever to process so
I am unable to send real messages using outlook.

I tried OutlookSPY and nothing showed up as hidden in the outbox folder. I
also tried setting up a new outlook data file but the problem continues.

I know my yahoo account works fine because I am able to send and receive
e-mails through the web.

Does anyone know what's going on and can anybody help me get rid of this
problem?

Thanks!

Thanks Kathleen!

I tried it but there was nothing in the outbox to delete. Any other
ideas/suggestions?

Thanks!

Check to make sure you're not filtering the view in your Outbox for one
thing. If you don't get that resolved, check your webmail on your ISP to see
if there's anything there.
