outlook typing new message/ new content in replies STALLING horrib

has this problem been solved yet? i posted it a month ago and no one has had
any idea - i've installed to a brand new Windows XP installation, first thing
after OS install, and it's ended up doing the same thing:

when i'm typing something new to be sent, my cursor is stalling every
several seconds FOR a few seconds. at times, the whole windows wants to lose
focus, replaced my Outlook's Main App, i think - i have to write a LOT of
emails in a day, and this is quite frustrating.

anyone discovered what's going on with this, yet?

Does this happen while typing in other applications also? I had a similar
problem a few years ago. I don’t recall the details but it was caused by a
routine that checked my Hp scanner about every 30 seconds or so and locked
any activity for about 7 seconds. I unchecked the routine in my startup list
and problem was solved.

interesting - i'm willing to look at anything - not quite sure if it happens
elsewhere, i only do any real typing in Outlook and OneNote... in fact, if i
switch my email reply to OneNote then the problem is avoided, so...

what routine was checking your HP scanner, and why the F would that be
necessary...? i use an HP Officejet, in fact...

I seriously doubt that you have the same type of problem since the Hp in
question was an older Scanjet 3200c. The software was periodically checking a
sensor on the scanner. Sorry I couldn't offer more info.
